Something about their riding instead of more gear. A painting made from a photo of their own race or trip is one of a kind, and a signed print is a smaller option from $40.
Gift guide
Gift ideas for cyclists who already have the gear
Most riders buy their own gear the day they want it. What they don’t have is a painting of their best day on the bike. Kristi Gray paints cyclists and mountain bikers by hand in acrylic on canvas, from your photo or from her own collection.
Prints from $40. Custom paintings from $200. Free shipping in the contiguous US.

A signed cycling print
Limited edition prints of Kristi’s road cycling and mountain bike paintings, signed and numbered on 320gsm cold press paper with archival ink. Allow about a week for a print to ship.
From $200
A painting of their own ride
Send Kristi a photo from their race, a group ride or a favorite trail and she paints it by hand. An 8 × 10 in canvas with one rider starts at $200.
One of a kind
An original painting
Acrylic originals on gallery-wrapped canvas, ready to hang without a frame. Each one is sold once, so the painting you see is the only one.

Give them a painting of their own ride
You don’t need to know anything about bikes. You need one good photo of them riding, and Kristi takes it from there.
01
Find the photo
Use a photo you took or have permission to use. The original file from a phone or camera works best, since screenshots lose detail.
02
Pick a size
Six canvas sizes from 8 × 10 in to 24 × 30 in. You see the price before you pay, and a 50% deposit gets it started.
03
Kristi paints it
About 8 business days for the smaller sizes and 14 to 16 for 20 × 20 in and up, counted from when she starts.
04
It ships ready to hang
You get a preview photo first. Shipping is free in the contiguous US, to you or straight to them.
Ordering for a birthday or the holidays? Start a few weeks ahead to leave room for painting and shipping.
Originals and prints
Cycling and mountain bike paintings
Road racing, time trials and trail riding, painted in acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas. Most are also available as signed, limited edition prints.
Which photo to pick
Rides worth painting
The race they still talk about
A finish line, a breakaway or the last corner of a crit.
A big trip
The mountain pass, the gravel road or the trail they traveled a long way to ride.
A first
A first race, a first century or a kid’s first ride without training wheels.
An old photo
A good scan of a print can work too. Several of Kristi’s cycling paintings come from photos taken around 1990.

Questions about cycling gifts
Anything else? Kristi is happy to help.
